Teacher
Mr. Matthew
Hello! My name is Mr. Matthew. I have been working at Busy Bees II for about 6 years. I strongly believe in diversity within my students beyond race, but academic success. I believe each child is capable for so much more, if they put time and effort into it. On my spare time I like to hang out with my friends, listen to music, and admire the wonderful art that is out there in this world.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Catherine
Hello! My name is Ms. Catherine. I am the teacher assistant in the school age classroom at Busy Bees II, where I have been teaching at for the past year. I believe it is important to create a safe and comfortable space for each child to share their experiences openly. Student's experiences help them realize a broader view of the world, help them know how to appreciate the community, and help them have an insight on their skills, interests, and passion. Connecting with the students, learning about their lives, and supporting them in their thoughts and feelings allows me to assist them with the best care I can give them for their growth in the future. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, relaxing at home, reading, listening to music, and sleeping.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Karen
Hello! My name is Ms. Karen. I believe that each child is more capable than they appear to be, so I strive to work towards being that pushing block for them. Student's experiences help influence many aspects of their lives, which will affect the others around them so putting precious positive moments in their lives will be influential all around. Getting to know each student one on one allows me to adapt to each child needs giving them the best care I can offer for their growth for the future. In my free time I enjoy relaxing at home, spending time with friends, reading, and of course napping.

Teacher
Ms. Ella
My name is Ms. Ella, and I am so thrilled to teach at Busy Bees II. I have been teaching children for the past 9 years. I have obtained masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Bilingual Education. I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I began my journey in the States when I was 20 years old. My personal learning and teaching experience has provided me with the professional knowledge in teaching students with linguistically and culturally diverse (LCD) backgrounds. Differentiated instructions have been
utilized in my teaching instructions. I also promote positive reinforcement and positive consequence to take on in terms of choices to modify and shape students’ behavior. Something fun about myself is that I am a coffee lover and enjoy reading books and traveling. Overall, I am passionate about
teaching young children and establishing resilience with them that help approach new situations, people or experiences with confidence and a positive mindset.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Maria
Hello, my name is Ms. Maria. I have been teaching for the past 3 years. I love anything that's glittery and pink. I have a German Shepherd, her name is Aurora. And I call all my students Chicken Nuggets. I believe that every child is precious and unique in their own special way. Not only do the children learn, but we the teachers also learn along with them. It's also amazing how we get to see them grow and succeed into their own little person. I love to watch Harry Potter movies, go for long hikes and cook.

Teacher
Ms. Sio
Hello! My name is Ms. Sio. I was born on October 18th in China. I recently received my Masters in Education from National Louis University. My spouse and I have a three-year-old daughter. I am now the Early Headstart Teacher in the Busy Bees 2 year old classroom. I've been teaching for eight years. I think that each child learns differently and that they should be allowed to experiment with a variety of hands-on activities to demonstrate their interests and requirements. As I become an integral part of each of my students' lives, I make it a priority to use all of the information I gather from them to individualize activities for each of them and make their learning more successful. In my spare time, I like to relax at home, watch dramas, and go shopping.

Assistant Teacher
Ms. Camille
My name is Ms. Camille. I have been teaching for 12 years. I like working with toddlers because each day they are excited about learning new things. They are easily amazed by things that adults take for granted. In my free time I like to read, play video games, and watch mysteries.
